Our Experience in Evaluation…
P:N consultants understand evaluation as an essential management function. Its practice helps satisfy two important requirements of public administration: accountability and quality assurance.
As an accountability instrument, evaluation enables judgements about the
utilization of public resources in implementing policies, programs and projects, and in providing the services.
As a quality assurance mechanism, evaluation provides an ongoing means of assessing and improving the effectiveness of policies, programs, projects and services along with the organizations that implement them.
P:N evaluation assignments cover all phases in the project/program cycle, from design to impact assessment, and vary widely in scale and complexity: from multi-sector, country and agency to single sector and country projects; from a few weeks duration to several years; from contracts of under $10,000 to nearly $700,000.
In the past five years, P:N has completed upwards of 40 separate contracts, of which at least 25 have been for CIDA. P:N currently holds its fifth multi-year Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) in Performance Review/Evaluation with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
This agreement pre-clears our consultants to provide evaluation services to the Agency.
